Disaster 1: Zombie Infection

In the following post I will be going through F.A.Q's (Frequently Asked Questions) and ways on how to survive a zombie infection, if one were to ever happen. You never know, its better to be safe then dead or is it undead? Oh well. Below you will find a list of items that will be of great assistance in surviving.

  • Weapons - Anything that can be used to kill the zombie menace. Ex. Bats, knifes, guns, golf clubs etc.
  • Shelter - A place to stay at is very vital. An environment that is familiar to someone can be a good way to stay safe why still feeling comfortable and knowing how to get around if anything were to happen.
  • Food - Food is an essential item to staying alive. If you have an empty fridge and no beer when a zombie infection goes global is do the following.
  1. Get armed up. You want to be ready for anything.
  2. Drive to the nearest supermarket. Don't pick up anybody off the road. Anybody can be infected at this point and you are just increasing your chances of getting infected by exposing yourself to others.
  3. Stop by the the nearest supermarket. Gather as much food needed for a whole family and then get more. If anybody tries anything just shoot them, you do not got time for shenanigans.
Once you have gathered enough food you will need to conserve it. You will need to ration it to make sure you do not have to make another trip and get bit in the face while doing so. You can then continue staying alive by following the F.A.Q below according to any situation may be in.

    1. What is the first thing I should do, once the infection goes global?

Once the infection goes global, its all about you and only you. Other people will only slow you down. People travel faster by themselves and you attract less attention if you are alone. Once you know you are alone, TURN AROUND QUICKLY!! you never know when a zombie will pop out so watch your back Then you want to board all of your windows and doors with any type of wood (I recommend 2x4 wood planks), you do not want any zombies coming in and biting you. Finally, make sure that you have a t.v. or radio so that you can stay aware of what is happening in the outside world. You do not want to be locked up in your house for 8 months and later find out the infection died off a week after starting.

    1. What weapons are the best choice to use?

Any weapon is good. Guns are a powerful and a very effective way of taking out a zombie. Even though a gun is very useful, a knife or blade will do just as good. Both have their ups and downs. A gun has to be reloaded and this could cost you your life if you are not aware of your surroundings. A knife on the other hand does not have to be reloaded but when used you have to approach the zombies, leaving you open to an attack. I would just suggest both so that you are always prepared for any situation.

    1. What is the best place to take shelter in?

Your house. Its safe and your in a familiar environment. Your house would be the best place because you are aware of where everything is. Also you may already have many useful items and utensils needed for survival. If you have been following this guide, all your windows and doors should be boarded up further adding to how safe your home is.

    1. What should be done to anybody that has been bitten?
Anybody who is bitten is eventually going to become consumed by the virus and will attack you. The humane thing to do is kill your friend/ loved ones before symptoms start setting in. If they were in your shoes, they would gladly do the same for you in the same situation.

    1. What precautions should be taken?
    1. Always wear a face mask until you know that the virus is not airborne, it’s better to be safe then sorry.
    2. Before coming into contact with anybody, make sure to check for symptoms of contamination. Symptoms include such things as spasms, seizures, blurred and unrecognizable
speech and an unquenchable thirst for HUMAN!!
    3. Always be armed, you don’t want to be caught by a horde of zombies and not have anything to fight back or defend yourself with.
    4. Don’t let feelings get in between killing someone and you. If a friend or loved one is infected do not hesitate to kill them, the longer you wait the higher the chance of you getting infected rises.

        1. I think your blog is great, I think it is creative and a little funny. For example, "The humane thing to do is kill your friend/ loved ones before symptoms start setting in. If they were in your shoes, they would gladly do the same for you in the same situation." I can never imagine killing my mom. LOL
I really like the theme you picked for this post. Also, the pictures are really good and the game you posted. I am looking forward in reading more of your posts.
